[Weekly Newsletter] Joan Of Arcadia: Learning About Revenge

*I can hardly believe it's already Week 4 of the semester* :)

Last week, it's almost safe to say everyone in the room were in a different atmosphere altogether from the one outside Frankl. Some of us had stories to share, while some others were good listeners. Thank you Marcos for sharing your talent in music :)

What's happening this week?

This week, we will be praying the Divine Mercy. Here is a little description about The Divine Mercy Devotion.

Devotion to The Divine Mercy involves a total commitment to God as Mercy. It is a decision to trust completely in Him, toaccept His mercy with thanksgiving, and to be merciful as He is merciful. The message and devotion to Jesus as The Divine Mercy is based on the writings of St Faustina, a Polish nun who, in obedience to her spiritual director, wrote a diary of about 600 pages recording the revelations she received about God's mercy. all will come to share His joy. It is a message we can call to mind simply by remembering ABC.

A — Ask for His Mercy.

B — Be merciful.

C — Completely trust in Jesus.

Vengeance is Mine

Also, we would be watching an episode from Joan of Arcadia circulating the topic of Revenge this week.

We would think that passages from the Bible would tell us not to engage in any form of revenge. Is this so? Come and find out at our meeting.

(Remember to bring your Bibles!) Hope to see you there :)
